United Sponsors of Sheffield Pin Badge Collection

The First ever Sponsor Cantors. A proper Sheffield business specialising in Furniture “Making a House a Home.” Cantors will be best remembered for the Ajax style home shirt. From the late 70s to the early 80s, Cantors went hand in hand with HOBOTT shirt suppliers. Another proud Sheffield business.

The Second – Wards. The Brewery Headquarters was located on Ecclesall Road. Sponsoring the Blades through the mid to late 90s. From the end of the Bassett era, right through to Howard Kenadall and of course, the return of Brian Deane in 97.

The Third, and most fondly remembered, is that of Lavers. The Laver family have sat on the United board for generations and gave rise to the Dave Bassett era. This design featured on some of the most memorable of kits, from the Leicester promotion winning lime Green Away shirt, to the opening Premier League game.

All three Sponsors are brought to you as Pin Badges in this plush Velvet display case. The United Sponsors of Sheffield display box is embossed in Gold to the lid. A strictly limited edition but a must for the collection.
