The Sheffield United FA Cup shirt…
Based on the very early Sheffield United shirt – which was later re-designed for the 2016 Nigel Adkins season, we have re-created the classic design. Instead of visions of Conor Sammon and Martyn Woolford, we have decided to commemorate every single FA Cup final victory this famous club has had. Indeed, Sheffield United are the most successful club from Yorkshire in the competition, despite not winning it for nearly 100 years. The era between 1889 and 1925 was the clubs most successful and we are proud to shout aloud what SUFC did in 37 years, other clubs have failed to do in over 100, making United the joint 12th club to win the competitions 4 times.
On this shirt we have added the following designs;-
4 Gold FA Cups proudly embroidered above the Badge
The Dates – 1899, 1902, 1915, 1925 embroidered in Gold on the back of the Red collar
The victories and scorelines embroidered on each sleeve with the respective dates (Derby, Southampton, Chelsea and Cardiff) 2 per each sleeve
